BIRTH & DEATH Michael was born on 19 May 1707 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[18,28] and died of Dysentery in South Reading (now Wakefield), Middlesex co., MA on 31 October 1773; he was 66[29].
OCCUPATION Michael was a Weaver[1]
MILITARY SERVICE He served in the French & Indian Wars[1].
RESIDENCE & REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS Michael was the first Sweetser to move out of Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA. His house was at 578 Main Street in Wakefield, Middlesex co., MA. It has since been moved around the corner to Nahant Street and is supposedly still standing. Wyman mentions that he is "of Reading" Ð correct, since what is currently Wakefield was a part of Reading at that time.
MARRIAGE On 18 November 1731 when Michael was 24, he married Mary SMITH, daughter of Issac SMITH & Mary PIERCE, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[30].

iv. Michael2 SWEETSER Michael2 was born on 18 September 1737 in Reading, Middlesex co., MA[38].
v. Mary SWEETSER Mary was born on 1 August 1739 in Reading, Middlesex co., MA[32].
vi. Martha SWEETSER Martha was born on 13 September 1741 in Reading, Middlesex co., MA[32].
