BIRTH & DEATH Samuel was born on 1 September 1732 in South Reading (now Wakefield), Middlesex co., MA[32] and died in Wakefield, Middlesex co., MA on 21 December 1818; he was 86[33].
RESIDENCE & REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS Samuel was "of Stoneham" on his marriage record[34] and lived in Malden, Middlesex co., MA until 1760 or 1761. In 1782, Samuel was a member of the five person committee to consider setting off the North Parish of Lynn as its own town. In 1814 this was done and the new town became Lynnfield.
MARRIAGE On 24 March 1757 when Samuel was 24, he married Lydia HAWKES[35], daughter of John HAWKES & Hannah PREAST, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[36].

vi. Daniel SWEETSER Daniel was born on 11 April 1764 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[43].

viii. Ezra SWEETSER Ezra was born on 16 February 1771 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[43].
