BIRTH & DEATH Allen was born on 16 Mar 1706/7 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[75,86] as "Bread, Allin" and died in Lynn, Essex co., MA after 1746; he was 39.
OCCUPATION & TOWN SERVICE In a 1730/1 Deed, Allen lists his occupation as House-Carpenter. In the lawsuit against Huldah's brother Samuel Newhall, he lists his occupation as Coaster[87]. Allen served as Constable in his brother Joseph's in 1740/1, 1746 & 1758. He was also a fence-viewer in 1740/1.
RESIDENCE In the deed of 1 March 1730/1, Allen "...conveys to his brother Matthew Breed, coaster, one-quarter part of the homestead of their father, Joseph Breed, deceased, very near the meeting house, his wife, Hulda, relinquishing her right of dower..."[88] In 1746, Allen Breed, Capt. Benjamin Newhall, Solomon Newhall, Benjamin Alley and Samuel Johnson were given "liberty to build a wharf at the Black Marsh where the old wharf formerly was."[89]
MARRIAGE On 2 June 1728 when Allen was 22, he married Huldah NEWHALL, daughter of Samuel NEWHALL & Abigail LINDSEY, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[82,86,90]. A marriage intention was also filed in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 2 June 1788 as "Allen Breed & Huldah Newhall both of Lynn" - this was recorded twice in the town records.

CHILDREN 70. i. Joseph BREED Joseph was born on 3 June 1729 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88,100] and died before 4 April 1774; he was 44. Joseph is Waters #317 and on 1 November 1750 when Joseph was 21, he married Rebecca MERRIAM [88].
71. ii. Love BREED Love was born on 16 August 1731 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88,100] and died on 10 November 1774; she was 43. Love is Waters #318 and on 29 March 1750 when Love was 18, she married Allen NEWHALL, son of Daniel NEWHALL & Mary BREED[101,102]. He is Waters #238.
72. iii. Jerusha BREED Jerusha was born on 2 September 1733 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88,100] and died on 12 July 1826; she was 92. She is Waters #319 and on 4 April 1758 when Jerusha was 24, she married Henry BACHELLER [88].
73. iv. Huldah BREED Huldah was born on 10 September 1736 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88, 103] and is Waters #320. Huldah married Nehemiah LINDSEY.
74. v. Abigail1 BREED Abigail1 was born on 8 September 1739 in Lynn, Essex co., MA but her birth is not recorded in the Lynn Vital Records. She died in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 16 September 1740; she was aged 1y. 8d[104].
75. vi. Abigail2 BREED Abigail2 was born on 7 November 1741 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88,97] and is Waters #321. On 2 December 1761 when Abigail2 was 20, she married Richard RICHARDS[86].
76. vii. Allen BREED Allen was born on 19 April 1744 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[86,97] and died before February 1798; he was 53. He is Waters #322 and on 4 March 1766 when Allen was 21, he married Abigail LINDSEY[86].

78. ix. Eliphalet BREED Eliphalet was born on 4 June 1750 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88,112] as "Breed, Eliphet, d. [sic]" and died in 1790/1795; he was 39. Eliphalet is Waters #324 and on 10 December 1772 when Eliphalet was 22, he married Mary JOHNSON[88].
79. x. Colonel Frederick BREED, Esq. Frederick was born on 20 August 1755 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[88]. His birth is not recorded in the Lynn Vital Records. Frederick died in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 17 June 1820; he was 64[113]. He is Waters #325 and married Sarah MANSFIELD.
