RESIDENCE	Samuel lived in Malden, Middlesex co., MA^[1], but bought land in Charlestown, Suffolk co. MA. He bought 39 acres from the executors of the estate of P. Tufts in 1700/1 and bought an unknown acreage of woods from Esther Carter in 1703^[1].
ESTATE	Samuel's will was written on April 23 1719 and probated on 10d:8m:1720. In it, Samuel's wife Mehitable received one-half of the estate and their son, Jabez, received land in Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA comprising "Ran's Lot", "Carter's Lot", and more^[1].
MARRIAGE	Before 1679/80 when Samuel was 28, he married Mehitable BUCKNAM, daughter of William BUCKNAM & [Sarah KNOWER?], in Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA or Malden, Middlesex co., MA^{[2,26,27,13,28,29, 30,31]}. Mehitable was born on 6m:1654 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA^[2,32] and died in Malden, Middlesex co., MA on 17 September 1734; she was 80^[2,3].
