BIRTH, DEATH & BURIAL John was born circa 1617 in Wethersfield, Essex, England[1,2]. This birth year is based on the fact that he was aged 50 in 1667. John died on 26 September 1693; he was 76[1,2,3]. He is buried in Malden, Middlesex co., MA.
MIGRATION Clearly he migrated from England to New England, but that information is currently unknown.
RESIDENCE & CHURCH MEMBERSHIP He lived first in Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA, where he was admitted to the church on 15d:11m:1646/7[1] and received a land grant of 8 acres at Mystic, next Thomas Line's farm on 3d:11m:1647/8[1]. In 1668, he bought 2-1/2 acres of pasture in Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA from John Bull in 1668[1]. He had removed to Malden, Middlesex co., MA by the time of his second marriage in 1675[1].
FREEMANSHIP Given his church membership and land ownership in Charlestown, as well as his clear membership in the militia, John was probably a Freeman.
MARRIAGE #1 Before 1650 when John was 33, he first married Mary HILLS, daughter of Joseph HILLS, in Charlestown, Suffolk co., MA or Malden, Middlesex co., MA[2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14, 15,16,17]. Mary was born circa 1625[2] and died in Malden, Middlesex co., MA on 25d:9m:1674; she was 49[1,2,3].

CHILDREN 3. i. John WAITE John first married Sarah MUZZY, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[24]. On 4d:6m:1675 John second married Sarah PARKER, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[24].
4. ii. Joseph WAITE Joseph married Hannah OAKES, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[24]. They had one son, Jonathan, who was married Abigail LYNDE, daughter of Captain John LYNDE & Mary PIERCE, as her second husband. She first married his cousin, William WAITE, below.

6. iv. Mary WAITE Mary was born in 31d:6m:1653 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25] and died in Malden, Middlesex co., MA on 9 August 1667; she was 14[1,3].
7. v. Hannah WAITE Hannah was born on 9d:7m:1656 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25]. On 11d:8m:1676 when Hannah was 20, she married William BUCKNAM, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[24].
8. vi. Mehitable WAITE Mehitable was born in 15d:7m:1658 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25] and married Deliverance PARKMAN.
9. vii. Thomas WAITE Thomas was born on 1d:7m:1660 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25].
10. viii. Rebecca WAITE Rebecca was born on 22 November 1662 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25] and married Jonathon TUFTS.
11. ix. Sarah WAITE This child is only mentioned by Wyman with no birth info by him. She is not in Malden, Middlesex co., MA vital records, despite the fact that her surrounding siblings are. According to Wyman, on 25 April 1684 Sarah married Nathaniel STONE, of Sudbury, Middlesex co., MA[1], in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[24].
12. x. Nathaniel WAITE Nathaniel was born on 27d:3m:1667 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,25]. He married Elizabeth LYNDE, daughter of Captain John LYNDE & Mary PIERCE.
MARRIAGE #2 On 4 August 1675 when John was 58, he second married Sarah PARKER, in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[1,2,18,19,20,21,22,23] Sarah was born circa 1627[2], her birth year is estimated from her age at death. Sarah died on 13 January 1707/8; she was 80[1,2,3].
