This issue was definitively solved in Maxine Stansell's article in the October 2002 issue of NEHGR entitled "The Middlebrook Sisters: Mother and Mother-In-Law of Michael Wigglesworth[5]". |

| MARRIAGE | On 27 October 1629 Esther/Hester married Edward WIGGLESWORTH, son of William WIGGLESWORTH, in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England[4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14]. Torrey simply states that they were married "before 1631". The aforementioned NEHGR article cites the Bishops' Transcripts of Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England, which list a record for: "[ ] Wiglesworth" to "Ester Middlebrooke". |
