DEATH & BURIAL William died in 1630 in Montcombe, England[2] and was buried on 11 May 1630 in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England[3,4].
OCCUPATION He and his brother Mark served as underkeepers of the forest near Berwick St. John between 1598 and 1610[5]. More specifically, "William and Mark succeeded to the property of Edward Parsons alias Frowde (Foule?) (father-in-law of William?) at Charlton-Musgrove in 1610 but remained underkeeper at Rushmore Walk on Cranborne Chase until 1611. From 1612 to 1630 William and Mark were joint tenants at Charlton-Musgrove[5]." Charlton-Musgrove is 14 miles northeast of Yevil, Somerset, England[1]. William was also a churchwarden in the parish of Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England in 1627[6].
MARRIAGE Before 1613 William married Elinor/Ellin FOULE, in Berwick, St. John, Wiltshire, England[2,5,7]. Berwick is 5 miles east of Shaftesbury, Wiltshire, England[5]. Elinor came to New England with her second husband John STONE in 1636 and they brought the Haskell children with them[2].

CHILDREN 4. i. Roger HASKELL Roger was born in 1613/14 and died in Beverly, Essex co., MA in 1667; he was 54[5]. Roger was baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 6 March 1613/14[3,4].
5. ii. Cecile/Ciclle HASKELL Cecile or Ciclle was born in 1616 and was baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 5 June 1616[3,4]. She married Edward COKE, in Pen Selwood, Wiltshire, England[5]. They lived in Wincanton, which was 1 mile south of Charlton-Musgrove[5].

7. iv. Mark HASKELL Mark was born in 1621 and was baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 8 April 1621[3,4]. Mark died in 1668; he was 47.
8. v. Dorothy HASKELL Dorothy was born in 1623 and baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 16 November 1623[3,4].
9. vi. Elizabeth HASKELL Elizabeth was born in 1626. At the age of 10, Elizabeth was baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 30 April 1636[3,4].
10. vii. Joan HASKELL Joan was born in 1628/9 and was baptized in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England on 1 March 1628/9[3,4]. She received a heifer from her brother Roger's 1667 will, so she made it to New England with the rest of her family[5].
11. viii. [possibly Edward] HASKELL This child was buried on 5 August 1629 in Charlton-Musgrove, Somersetshire, England[5].
