DEATH He died before 13 December 1457 when his estate was administered[17,23].
ARMS His descendants included his mother's Fitz Roger arms of Gules, Three Lions Rampant Or[23] amongst the family's heraldic quarterings.
OCCUPATION He was Sheriff of Devonshire, England in 1448-9[17,23].
RESIDENCE & REAL ESTATE Hugh held -- via the right of his wife -- the manors of Affeton, East & West Wolrington, Bradford Tracy, Brigerule, Meshaw and Thelbridge, all in Devonshire, England[17].
ESTATE Hugh's estate was administered on 13 December 1457[17,23].
MARRIAGE Before 19 December 1437 when Hugh was 39, he married Katherine DE AFFETON, daughter of John DE AFFETON & Joan BRATTON[17,23].
