BIRTH 12 July 1860 in New Castle, Rockingham co., New Hampshire[4,10,12].
DEATH Died 11 April 1943 in Quincy, Norfolk co., MA; she was 82 years[5,10]. According to her death certificate, she had suffered from Broncho-Pneumonia and Chronic Myocarditis for 1 year and 6 months.
BURIAL Ella is buried in the Cedar Grove Cemetary, Dorchester, Suffolk co., MA[13].
OCCUPATION Ella was a Housewife. However, In 1901, Ella took her husband Ordway's job as Clerk at 40 Market Street, Portsmouth, Rockingham co., NH[14] presumably to "hold" the position for him while he worked at the Navy Yard in Portsmouth. By 1903, he was back at his old job.
MARRIAGE She married Ordway Rider HALL on 27 April 1882 in New Castle, Rockingham co., NH.[2,10,15]

CHILDREN 2. i. Lillian J. HALL Born 11 March 1883 at 11:00AM.[11]

Married Carl M. NELSON on 5 September 1904.[14] He was a machinist.[2,12]

They had the following children:

  1. Alice Ella NELSON, born 6 July 1905 at 8:00 AM[11], married Roy JACK[14]
  2. Walter Richard NELSON, born 29 March 1907 at 9:55 AM[11], died 21 February 1908 at 10:50 AM[4].
  3. Evelyn Viola NELSON, born 7 January 1910 at 7:00 AM[11], married Earl BENGAY[14]
  4. Carl Martin NELSON, Jr., born 9 October 1912 at 8:30 AM[11], married Evelyn TARBOX[14]
  5. Lillian Elizabeth NELSON, born 21 February 1915 at 7:30 PM[11], married Cyril WINDERS[14]
  6. Ella Ruth NELSON, born 13 May 1917[11], no mention of marriage
  7. Esther Pauline NELSON, born 27 January 1920[11], married Albert HOUSE[14]
3. ii. Leonora Estelle HALL Born 2 July 1885 at 7:00 AM.[11].

She was crippled with arthritis and confined to a wheelchair[2,12].

Married Richard H. Cummings on 23 September 1906.[14].

They had the following children:

  1. Chester Joseph CUMMINGS, born 24 march 1907 at 6:11 AM[11], married Mary SCOLARO[14].
  2. Ethel CUMMINGS, married Bert JULIN[14].
  3. Pauline Estelle CUMMINGS, born 5 March 1915 at 12:40 PM[11].
4. iii. Lizzie Martin HALL Born 6 June 1890 at 6:00 AM[11].

Married Albert E. Smith on 9 August 1915[14].

They had the following children:

  1. Robert David SMITH, born 16 October 1916 at 1:30 PM[11], married Marjorie WILLIAMS[14]. Robert was in the Air Force and was at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on 7 December 1941[2,12].
  2. Albert Edward SMITH, born 2 July 1920[11]. Albert settled in Quincy, Norfolk co., Massachusetts[2,12].
  3. Esther or Eleanor Marie SMITH, who later disappeared[2,12].
5. iv. Laura May HALL Born 19 November 1891 at 11:00 PM[11].

Married Shirley S. Damon on 5 October 1914[14].

They had the following child:

  1. Dorothy Mae DAMON, born 5 December 1916 at 2:30 PM[11], married Eugene REDLON[14].
6. v. Lowie Pauline HALL Born 18 February 1893 at 7:00 PM[11].

Married Kenneth D. Stone on 17 June 192? (final number obscured by ornate edging)[14].

They had the following children:

  1. Kenneth David STONE[11], he was crippled with the infantile paralysis version of polio[2,12].
  2. Arthur Warren STONE[11], he was married with children and lived in Holden, Worcester co, Massachusetts by 1942[2,12].
  3. Doris Ann STONE[11], she was single and lived in Grafton, Worcester co., Massachusetts by 1942[2,12].
  4. Russell Ordway STONE[11]
  5. Frances Martin STONE, born 21 April 1921 at 1:30 AM[11], she was married with no children in 1942[2,12].
Buried in Cedar Grove Cemetary - Dorchester, Suffolk co., Massachusetts[12].
