BIRTH According to New Castle VRs, Abbie was born 26 May 1837 in New Castle, Rockingham co., NH Her gravestone says she was born in 1838, and the Hall Family Bible says that she was born on 26 May 1838. It is certain that her birthplace was New Castle, Rockingham co., NH[30,34,36].
DEATH Died 12 January 1914[34,37,38] in Dorchester, Suffolk co., MA; aged 75y:7m:17d. Cause of death was Acute Intestinal Obstruction from a Strangulated Umbilical Hernia[34,38]. Here is a transcription of her obituary.
BURIAL Buried in New Castle Cemetary - New Castle, Rockingham co., NH[34].
OCCUPATION Seamstress.
MARRIAGE She married Stacy HALL, Sr. on 11 July 1858 in New Castle, Rockingham co., NH[30,35].
COMMENTS According to records, Abbie was an only child. However, according to family lore, she had three brothers and one sister - Isette Neal, who married William Trefethern. However, Izette turns out to be her Aunt.[34]
