MARRIAGE

On 20 January 1727/8 when Sarah was 16, she married William CHEEVER, son of Thomas CHEEVER Jr. & Mary BOARDMAN, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[34,35]. Their marriage record reads ³William Chever & Sarah Wait². Sarah possibly remarried. The Lynn, Essex co., MA vital records list the following: 1) "Sarah, Mrs., & Cap't John Swain of Reading. Int. Mar. 27, 1750." 2) "Sarah [Mrs. int.], & [Cap't int.] Wm. Roby, Jan. 3, 1752."
