MIGRATION & RESIDENCE Walter migrated from Wales to Marshfield, Plymouth co., MA with The Reverend Richard Blinman. He settled in Gloucester, Essex co., MA in 1642, as one of the early "props."
EDUCATION He signed his will and his inventory included "one bible & some other bookes".
FREEMANSHIP He took the Oath of Freeman on 19 May 1642 in Gloucester, Essex co., MA[20,21,22].

"The will of Walter Tibbot of Gloucester, deceased 14d:6m:1651, was delivered into this court by Robert Tucker, but cannot now be found; a copy whereof is now presented, Mr. Wm. Perkins and Robert Tucker, testifying to the truth of it, upon whose testimony the court, Oct. 19, 1652 doth allow the same."[16,17]

his Dwelling house, Barne & Cowhouse with six Acres of broken up land, twelve Acres unbroken, lying at the lower neck, ten more at the little river & 28 Acres of meadow, £60;
A ffarme at Chebacco containing fforty Acres of upland & ten of wast medo, £10;
one yoake of Oxen, £16;
one yoade of steeres, £9;
three Cowes, £15;
one heifer of 3 yeare old, with one yeareling & two Calves, £8;
nine goates, £4 10s.;
foure Kidds, £ 16s;
Ten swine, £9 15s.;

of howshold goods, pewter£3;
one great brasse Kettle, £2; 3 Iron potts & one frying pan, £1 3s.;

one bible & some other bookes, £1 10s

MARRIAGE Before 1622 Walter married, Mary [surname not known] in England[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]. On 22d:2m(May):1652 Mary second married John HARDING, in Gloucester, Essex co., MA as "Tybbit, ___, wid."[23].
