COMMENTS According to Odiorne, "...In 1791 he and five others signed a petition to have their lands in New Castle, south of Little Harbor, attached to the town of Rye. The petition was granted on December 22, 1791..."[25].
MARRIAGE In 1798 when Benjamin was 20, he married Dorothy YEATON, daughter of John Crucy YEATON and Ruth GRANT, in New Castle, Rockingham co., NH[5,26].
