BIRTH Based on Isaac's birth date -- and assuming he is the first child of a first marriage -- it is possible that Nicholas was born sometime circa 1615, probably in England.
DEATH Nicholas died after 28 November 1648[1,2], when he gave a power of attorney to Richard Shelton in order to recover a debt from Nathaniel Peck of Barbados or St. Christopher's, late of Hingham, Plymouth co., MA.
RESIDENCE & LEGAL MENTION We currently know nothing of his migration, but he was in Hingham, Plymouth co., MA by 1636[4], when he received a land grant there as "Nicholas Lobdin"[5,6]. Also, "Nicholas Lopdell" witnessed the will of Thomas Mussell, seaman, on 27 July 1640 [4d:5m(July):1646 is written in the margin][3].
MARRIAGE Nicholas' wife is currently unknown and died in March 1641 in Hull, Plymouth co., MA[7].
