BIRTH & DEATH was born on 12 February 1690/1 in Salem, Essex co., MA[18]. In the vital records, her birth is recorded as ÒWhitfoot, MargeryÓ. She died in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 21 April 1758; at the age of 68[19]. Her death record reads "Hawke, Mary, wid., fever and comsumption, April 21, 1758 in her 67th year". Notice that she was ÒMargeryÓ at birth and ÒMaryÓ at death.
MARRIAGE On 12 August 1710 when Margery was 20, she married John HAWKES Jr., son of Adam HAWKES & Elizabeth PRATT?!, in Lynn, Essex co., MA as ÒHawks, John and Mary WhitfordÓ[20,21,22]. An intention was also filed in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 12 August 1710 as ÒJohn Hawkes & Mary Whitford, both of LynnÓ. An intention of marriage for John & Mary was also filed in Salem, Essex co., MA on 21 April 1711.
