MIGRATION Odiorne[1] claims that James was one of the first colony of 80 persons sent out by James Mason and was at Kittery, York co., ME in 1636. Pope cites a deposition of 1652 in which Johnson claims residence only as early as 1636[4]..."[5]
DEATH James died on 8 June 1678[1].
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP "...Mary joined the North Church in Portsmouth on 24 May 1694, but after the death of Rev. Woodey in 1697 she transferred to Christ Church, Portsmouth..."[11]
MARRIAGE Circa 1638, James married Mary [surname not known], in Portsmouth, Rockingham co., NH. Mary was born in 1613, possibly in Kittery, York co., ME.[6,7,8,9,10]
