BIRTH Samuell was born in 1622 in London, England[1,2,3].
DEATH Samuell died in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 25 June 1683; he was 61[3,4].
MIGRATION & OCCUPATION Samuel came to New England in the 1640s, sent by the London Iron Company to work in their Iron Works in Lynn [Saugus], Essex co., MA. We do not know the ship which carried him from London to New England. Samuel worked at the Saugus Iron Works for his entire working life.
RESIDENCES Once in New England, Samuell lived in Lynn, Essex co., MA his entire life.
MARRIAGE #1 By 1653/1656, when Samuell was 31, he first married Edmund NEEDHAM & Joan/Jone/Jane LEESONE/LEAZING/LESSON, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12].

ii. John1 HARTT Born on 3 April 1666 and died in Lynn, Essex co., MA on 8 August 1667; he was 1[16,20].
iii. Abigaill HARTT Born on 15 November 1660 in Lynn, Essex co., MA and died on 10 December 1729/30; she was 69[16,20]. Lindberg mentions that Abigail died after 1677 and "...cared for her grandfather in his last sickness..."[20]. This is borne out by mention of this in Edmund Needham¹s will.
iv. Mary HARTT Died on 20 July 1657[16,20].
v. Samuel HARTT Born in 1656 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[16,20]. On 4 January 1680, when Samuel was 24, he first married Elizabeth INGOLS, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[16,20]. On 9 June 1684 when Samuel was 28, he second married Abigail LOMBARD, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[16,20].
vi. Hannah HARTT Born on 2 April 1657 and died young[16,20].
vii. Rebekah HARTT Born on 27 November 1668 in Lynn, Essex co., MA and died on 1 June 1680; she was 11[16,20].
viii. Ezekial/Ezekiell HARTT Born on 28 February 1669 in Lynn, Essex co., MA and died on 10 March 1669 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[16,20].
ix. William1 HARTT Born on 9 May 1670 in Lynn, Essex co., MA and died on 15 July 1670 in Lynn, Essex co., MA[16,20].

MARRIAGE #1 On 29 January 1673, when Samuell was 51, he second married Mary WITTERIGE/WHITTRIDGE/WHITING, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[3,9,13,14,15].
