BIRTH & DEATH Thomas was born circa 1680 in Dover, Strafford co., NH and died in Dover, Strafford co., NH on 13d:11m:1728/9; he was 48[21]. On their daughter Abigail's Lynn, Essex co., MA marriage intention their names read: "Thomas Hanson of Cochicka and Hannah Pearce of Lynn, 16 May 1719."[22]
RESIDENCE & TOWN SERVICE Thomas and Hannah lived in Dover, Rockingham co., NH, yet were married in Lynn, Essex co., MA -- where Hannah's family lived. Thomas served as Town Officer in 1708 and Selectman in 1728.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP They were Quakers. Their marriage was recorded in the Salem Monthly Meeting, Society of Friends (C.R. 1) in Lynn, Essex co., MA. The Hansons were very active in the Dover, NH Society of Friends and are listed in their records.
ESTATE Thomas' estate was probated on 18 September 1728 in Dover, Strafford co., NH. His wife Hannah was named the sole executrix[23].
MARRIAGE #1 Thomas first married Margaret MAUL. Margaret was also known as Margaretta[1] and died before June 1719, when Thomas remarried.

46. iv. Maul HANSON Maul first married Sarah TWOMBLEY, second married Mary CANNEY and third married Anne AUSTIN.
47. v. Jonathon HANSON We know nothing more of Abigail.
48. vi. Sarah HANSON We know nothing more of Sarah.
49. vii. Samuel HANSON Samuel was born on 19 July 1717 and married Anna VARNEY.

MARRIAGE #2 On 12 June 1719 when Thomas was 39, he second married Hannah PIERCE, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[24,25]. An Intention was also filed on 16 May 1719 in Lynn, Essex co., MA and reads as "Thomas Hanson of Cochecka & Hannah Pearce of Lynn." In the Lynn, Essex co., MA records, they are listed as "Hanson, Thomas of Dover, and Hannah Peirce".

CHILDREN 50. i. Solomon HANSON Solomon was born on 29 January 1719/20. He has been clearly identified as a child of Hannah.

52. iii. Ebeneezer HANSON Ebeneezer was born on 16 April 1726. He was a member of the Society of Friends[1]. Ebeneezer first married Anne HODGDON and second married Hannah [surname not known].
