Giles Corey The deposistion of Eliz: booth the wife of George booth & Allies Booth who testifie and say that on the 12ıth of this Isant Septır at the widow Shaflinıs house in Salem their appeared to us a grate number of wicthes as neare as we could rell about fifty thirteen of which we knew:who did Receive the sacriment in our right amongst whicth we most greviously afflect and torment us: and we beleve in our hearts that Giles Cory is a wizzard and that he has often affleted us and sevroll others by acts of wicthcraft. MARRIAGE On 25 November 1699/1700 when Alice was 21, she married Ebeneezer MARSH Sr., son of Zachary MARSH & Mary SILSBEE, in Salem, Essex co., MA[1,4,19,20,21,22,23,24,25]. The official court record says that they married in 1699 as ³Booth, Alice and Eben[eze]r Mash².
