BIRTH William was born on 6 December 1657 in Cambridge, Middlesex co., MA as "Bordman, Will[ia]m"[6,28,31].
DEATH William died in Rumney Marsh, Suffolk co., MA on 14 March 1695/6; he was 38[6,28,32].
BURIAL He was, however, buried in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[32,33].
CITIZENSHIP He was admitted as a Freeman in 1690[28].
OCCUPATIONS & TITLE William was a carpenter.
RESIDENCE He tended to choose residences which turned out to the boundaries between towns. First, on 4 February 1686/7, William Boardman bought a farm in Malden, Middlesex co., MA from John & Katharine Eyre. It was bounded on one side by the Malden line and on the other by the Lynn, Essex co., MA line and the Road to Reading, Middlesex co., MA[32]. In 1711, the boundary line of Lynn, Essex co., MA passed "through the stack of Chimnyes" on the Boardman house in Rumney Marsh, Suffolk co., MA and in 1717, B was marked on one side of the door and L on the other[32].
ESTATE His wife Sarah was appointed administratrix for his estate on 6 August 1696. On 14 March 1705/6 both Mary & Thomas Cheever and Lydia Boardman quitclaimed all rights to real and personal estate of their father to their brother William Boardman, Jr.[32].
MARRIAGE Before 2 April 1684 when William was 26, he married Sarah [surname not known], in Malden, Essex co., MA[6,7,19,34,35].

CHILDREN 28. i. William BOARDMAN, III William was born in 1686[32] and died on 10 October 1753; he was 67[32]. On 17 May 1708 when William was 22, he married Abiah SPRAGUE[32].
29. ii. Lydia BOARDMAN Lydia was born on 2 May 1687 in Malden, Middlesex co., MA[32.37]. On 30 March 1709 when Lydia was 21, she married Kendal PEARSON, in Lynn, Essex co., MA[32].
