BIRTH & DEATH John was born circa 1637 and died before 1717 (he was not mentioned in the resolution of his father's estate during that year); he was 80.
RESIDENCE John "...is said to have been the first settler in Rye or Sandy Beach..."[14] He received land grants in 1673, 1683, 1693 & 1689 and was living at Sandy Beach, Rockingham co., NH by 1703.
EDUCATION John's education level is indicated by the fact that he signed a petition on 20 February 1689 by ] mark only.
MARRIAGE Before 1658/9 when John was 21, he married Susannah [surname not known][14], in Hampton, Rockingham co., NH[2,21,22,23].

CHILDREN 9. i. John BERRY John was born on 14 January 1659[1]. Circa 1685/1693 when John was 25, he married Mary SOUTHER, in Hampton, Rockingham co., NH[2,42]. Mary was born in 1668[2].
